Job management for trades

The agent finds the customer and the site, then writes the job — a real Fergus entry, not a note about one.

What the agent does

  • Find a customer by their phone number or their name.
  • Create a customer, once the caller has confirmed their name.
  • Look up a site by street number and street name, or create one.
  • Find the jobs already open for a customer or a site, so it never logs the same one twice.
  • Create the job, with the caller's description and who's on site.
  • Create a quote job when the caller wants a price on something.
  • Log an enquiry — a name, a number and a message — when it isn't a job yet.

Each of these is switched on per customer. If you don't want the agent creating anything, it can look up and nothing more.

How it works with Fergus

Fergus is the system the agent learned on. The after-hours flow it runs — is it urgent, who's paying, which site, log the job, put it through if it can't wait — was built on a working plumber's Fergus account and is the template new trades customers start from. Every entry is a real one: the agent isn't allowed to leave a note where a job should be.

What your team sees

Search Fergus from the dial pad in H3llo Phone, and see the match on the ring screen before you pick up. The card shows the site and the count of active jobs by default; last quote, last invoice and account balance are there if you switch them on.

It’s the same lookup the agent uses, so the card on the ring screen and the customer the agent found are one and the same. More about H3llo Phone.

How it's connected

We connect it with a personal access token from your Fergus account and check it works before the agent gets it. Nothing to install on your side.

Run Fergus? Get the agent on your number.

Tell us what you run and we’ll set it up with you. No self-serve sign-up, on purpose: a person connects it and checks it before the first call.
