Formerly KapitiNET · Paraparaumu Beach

H3llo is a Kāpiti business.

We started here as KapitiNET and we're still at 34 Howell Road, Paraparaumu Beach. An AI receptionist, cloud phones, fibre and mobile for businesses from Paekākāriki to Ōtaki, from a team you can drive to.

Local, literally

An AI receptionist for the Kāpiti Coast, from the Kāpiti Coast.

Most Kāpiti businesses are small teams doing the work themselves. When you're up a ladder in Raumati, on the expressway to Ōtaki or with a customer at Coastlands, the phone rings out, and the caller has a list of other names to try.

H3llo's AI receptionist picks up what your team can't. It answers in plain New Zealand English with your business name, knows your hours and the rates you let it quote, and knows the difference between a Waikanae quote request and a burst pipe that needs someone tonight. Then it writes the job into your job system and tells you what happened.

Behind it is a local team. You ring the people who set your system up, and you can drop in to the office if you'd rather talk in person.

From KapitiNET to H3llo

Same team, bigger map.

The name changed because the customer list stretched past the Kāpiti Coast. The office didn't move.

  • 01The beginning

    Born in Kāpiti

We started as KapitiNET, a value-added AI voice service for Capitaledge, a Wellington-based managed service provider.

  • 02Taking root

    A NZ-first vision

No local telco was truly AI-first, so we set out to build the platform New Zealand businesses deserved.

  • 03Today

    KapitiNET becomes H3llo

We grew beyond Kāpiti to serve businesses across Aotearoa, and took a name for the national job. Same team, same office.

The whole story is on the about page.

Kāpiti towns

Paraparaumu, Waikanae and Ōtaki.

Each town rings differently. We've written about each one on its own page.

  • Home town

    Paraparaumu

Coastlands, Kāpiti Road and the airport units. Busy counters, overflow calls and vans on the road, answered from a few minutes away.

  • Just north

    Waikanae

Small, well-known businesses and callers who like to talk. Maintenance work, home offices, and a receptionist without the payroll.

    AI receptionist Waikanae→
  • Top of the coast

    Ōtaki

Growers, contractors and trades working out of coverage. The agent answers while you're up a back road, and the details wait for you.

Raumati, Paekākāriki, Te Horo and Peka Peka get the same team and the same phone number. Ring 0800 242 026 wherever on the coast you are.

Who we answer for

Mostly trades. Mostly when you can't.

Trades are H3llo's main market, and nights and weekends are when the agent earns its keep.

  • Trades

Plumbers, electricians and builders on the tools all day. The agent looks the caller up in Fergus, Simpro, Tradify, iTrade or Xero, then writes a real job, not a message.

    AI receptionist for trades→
  • After hours

A burst pipe at 2am, a Sunday enquiry, a public holiday. The agent quotes after-hours rates only if you allow it, puts urgent work through to your on-call phone, and books the rest for the morning.

How it goes live

Live on the Kāpiti Coast in four steps.

  • 01

    Tell us about the business

Your hours, your services, the rates it may quote, and who's on call. Fill in Get started, or ring us and we'll take it from there.

  • 02

    We build it

Your greeting, your job system connection, and the time schedules that decide when the agent answers.

  • 03

    Keep your number

We port your landline, 0800 or mobile number across, or add a new local number. Nothing on your van changes.

  • 04

    Read the summary

A summary by email and text after every call, or only when it's urgent. Want it changed? Ring the office.

Questions

Kāpiti questions.

Where is H3llo based?
At 34 Howell Road, Paraparaumu Beach, Paraparaumu 5032. We started on the Kāpiti Coast as KapitiNET and became H3llo as we grew to serve businesses across New Zealand. The office is open Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, and the phones are answered 24/7 on 0800 242 026.
Is H3llo the same company as KapitiNET?
Yes. Same team, new name. Existing KapitiNET internet and mobile customers keep using the KapitiNET portal for billing until they're moved across.
Which parts of Kāpiti do you cover?
All of it: Paekākāriki, Raumati, Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Peka Peka, Te Horo and Ōtaki. The agent, the phone system and mobile work anywhere in New Zealand; fibre depends on what's available at your address.
Do I have to change my number?
No. Keep the number on your van and your invoices. We can port it across, or add a new local number alongside it.
Can the AI receptionist handle emergencies?
A burst pipe at 2am, yes: it flags the call urgent and puts it through to whoever is on call. It isn't a 111 service. For police, fire or ambulance, ring 111.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No lock-in contract and no termination fee. If it isn't working for you, turn it off.

Stop missing Kāpiti calls.

Talk to a local team on the coast. Tell us how your phones work now, and we'll set the agent up around it.
